The Niro is designed to satisfy the various needs of young generations and to visualize the changes and joy of Kia EVs. Designing the Niro has been a journey of creativity from the very early stages of development, with designers and engineers working together to create new designs through Kia’s new philosophy, “Opposites United” and one o its 5 pillars “Joy for Reason”.
The exterior with a simple and dynamic body accented by unique claddings presents great visual contrasts and harmony at the same time delivering what “Opposites United” is about. The carefully designed C Pillar for aero performance and fuel efficiency gives more depth to “Joy for Reason” through bespoke colors. The interior is a modern and high-tech space characterized by an edge type display and exclusively designed seats for EVs.
Sustainability is rapidly changing the overall industry and design. In order to lead the trend, the Niro adopts various eco-friendly materials, demonstrating Kia’s commitment to sustainability. The combination of the new type of black color, technical fabric patterns and basalt materials from Jeju island feels human and natural. The Niro is Kia’s new interpretation of the change and innovation that the brand pursues.
